Where to Buy Electroneum – Electroneum 101
Last updated on May 17, 2018 Nineteen Comments
There are several options available to buy Electroneum. Ter this article, I’ll discuss the options.
Buy From an Exchange
The safest way to buy Electroneum is through an exchange. Exchanges bring together buyers and sellers of ETN and act spil an intermediary inbetween the two. They charge a petite toverfee for their service (typically 0.1-0.2% of the total purchase amount).
Exchanges that presently list Electroneum are:
Keep ter mind that most of thesis exchanges are cryptocurrency exchanges, meaning that you will need some other cryptocurrency like Bitcoin or Ethereum to buy Electroneum – they don’t accept fiat currencies such spil USD or GBP. However, you should be able to buy Bitcoin lightly at any of the large exchanges that accept fiat currency, such spil Coinbase, Bittrex, or LocalBitcoins.
Following is a list of exchanges that have shown rente ter listing ETN, or to which the team plans to apply for listing:
There are presently no precies dates for when Electroneum will be listed on thesis exchanges.
Buy From an ETN Holder ter Person
The 2nd method is to meet an Electroneum holder te person and buy directly from them with specie.
Using the app wallet, users are able to send ETN payments to other users of the app. Therefore, it is possible to buy ETN privately from a willing seller and have them transfer the ETN to your mobile wallet.
But be careful with this option. Scammers abound te the cryptocurrency industry! Don’t do anything you would not have done if you were buying a valuable voorwerp – such spil a diamond stadionring or car.
I recommend asking on Twitter or Facebook for someone te your area. Meet that person te a communal location such spil a mall or coffee shop. Pay them contant (or do a bankgebouw transfer while talking to them) and make sure you observe them transfer the ETN to your wallet.
Te The Future?
Both thesis methods seem cumbersome and also fairly risky. And they rightfully are! Scammers will seize any chance to capitalize on unsuspicious buyers.
However, Electroneum is set to become one of the largest cryptocurrencies te the world by permitting anyone to mine coins with their smartphone. It has all the ingredients to go virulento and achieve mass adoption.
Therefore, it will only be a matter of time until safer, more trusted methods see the light. If you feel the need to play it safe, wait until a safer method shows up, and ter the meantime make sure you are set up to mine coins every day!
Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to mine Electroneum on a pc. I’ve already opened my wallet on a pc and not on my mobile and would like to do the mining.
Here’s a guide that will voorstelling you how.
Can I buy ETN through IQ Option?
Not yet. IQ Option does not support ETN yet. Wij’ll need to wait for them to list it.
I have bought Bitcoin through my Luno account but how do I transfer it to ETN?
Presently, Electroneum is listed only on Cryptopia. So you’ll need to transfer your Bitcoins to Cryptopia and purchase Electroneum from there. Here’s an article I wrote that explains the process.

Hey, I have a twee of quick questions:
1) Can MyEtherWallet store Electroneum?
Two) To buy ETN, it says that I can use BTC (but not ETH?). I have an account on Binance. So, I assume that I’ll have to trade ETH/BTC and then transfer it to Cryptopia and then buy ETN, onberispelijk?
Sorry, I’m a noob te all this so I just want to be well informed before I start the process.
No problem. Glad to help…
1. No, MyEtherWallet cannot store Electroneum. It can only store Ethereum-based coins, which ETN is not.
Two. Yes, Cryptopia does not have a onmiddellijk ETH/ETN option. The way you mentioned it would work excellent. Sending to Cryptopia te ETH will also save you a lotsbestemming te fees.
Would love to get some ETN, but unluckily trading on Cryptopia has bot “paused” for days now.
Yeah, Cryptopia has basically gone from 500k registered users to 1.Five million ter the past Five weeks, so they’re truly fighting to keep up with server power and support staff. They’re busy moving to thicker servers at the ogenblik. Let’s hope they can get on top of this soon.
